I hope that you will find this website to be an effective communication and learning tool. Please take some time to browse through the site and familiarize yourself with it. I look forward to an exciting new year insha'Allah! Here you will find links to different websites we will be using through the year. You can use this website to access our homestudy, worksheets, as well as announcements throughout the year. Our school website,crescentacademy.org also has up-to-date calender and policy information.Check out our class wiki too. Wiki is basically a collaborative page where students will upload their work from home and school both, so that they don't have to access their e-mails in school to retrieve the work they did at home.

Dear Parents:
Research shows that technology integration in education enhances student learning. Let's make this a productive and meaningful experience by ensuring that our students don't make technology related home study an excuse to stay at the computer for more than the time required. For any research assigned by us should not take more than 15-20 minutes.
I would also like to share with you our middle school policy for working in groups on projects; middle school students are not allowed to work on their group projects outside the school. However, they can conduct research individually. If they need to work with their group members, they may make use of the Study Center time in the Tech Lab (3:30-4:45 PM-Monday Through Thursday).
Jazakallahu Khaira,
Ms. Khan
